"Confirmation deepens our baptismal life that calls us to be missionary witnesses of Jesus Christ in our families, neighborhoods, society, and the world. . . . We receive the message of faith in a deeper and more intensive manner with great emphasis given to the person of Jesus Christ, who asked the Father to give the Holy Spirit to the Church for building up the community in loving service." (United States Catholic Catechism for Adults)
Confirmation completes our initiation into the Church and seals us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which we first received at Baptism. This is a Sacrament of sending forth. It is with this sacrament that we are sent out into the world to bring Christ to all those in need of His grace.
If you have a young member of your family in need of Confirmation, please click here to receive information about sacramental preparation. If you are an adult who needs to be confirmed, please click here to receive information about the RCIA/Adult Confirmation process.
