On Monday, July 12th, Fr. Raphael celebrated his birthday.

We announce with great joy that 16 young people from St. Maria Goretti received their First Holy Communion on July 11th at the 10:30 am Mass.

All parishioners are encouraged to signup to participate in a listening session.

On July 17-18, 2021, the Archdiocese of New Orleans will take up the annual Black and Indian Mission Collection.

Remember, as we thank Fr. Cyril for his ministry we are supporting the building of new parish in the Archdiocese of Tororo.

As the spread of the virus in our local area continues to decline we make more changes for our Covid-19 protocols.

A tribute to Fr. Cyril Buyeera, parochial vicar and former administrator, who is now pastor of Ascension of Our Lord, Laplace.

On Sunday, June 13th at the 12 Noon Mass the parish honored those who graduated from High School and College. There were thirteen young people in total who were honored for their accomplishments.

On Thursday, June 3rd, eighteen youth of the parish were confirmed by Archbishop Gregory Aymond.
